Bowtown never had a history written by anyone, but ask any one from chai or paan shops to railway station or the Masjid near old "once upon a time" library building to famous Mandir down the stream, you will get a lot about history of bowtown and its Royal family. Though the histry was never written on papers, never came in a form of books, but it travelled through the generations. History of Bowton starts with Mahabharata, as they say. While goinng towards "Swarg", Arjun, most skilled Pandava and close friend of Lord Krishna left his bow, the Gandiva here. Gandiva was famous bow and Janmejay, the great grand son of Arjun felt its his right to get the bow again to be breave like Arjun.
